The training session recorded over 50 participants, reflecting the growing interest in blockchain technology in the Upper West Region. The objective of the event was to introduce participants to the fundamentals of the Cardano blockchain and educate them on how they can participate in building innovative solutions within the ecosystem.

During the meetup, participants were taken through several important topics including an introduction to the Cardano blockchain, understanding the utility of ADA, insights into Project Catalyst and how community members can propose and fund innovative ideas, as well as an overview of Cardano’s Proof-of-Stake governance system and how it enables decentralized decision-making within the network.


The sessions were designed to be interactive and engaging, allowing participants to ask questions, share ideas, and discuss the potential applications of blockchain technology in areas such as finance, entrepreneurship, education, and social development. Attendees also learned about the importance of collaboration within the Cardano community and the various tools and resources available to support innovators and developers.
