The session was organized to educate students and participants on blockchain technology and the opportunities within the Cardano ecosystem, particularly through Project Catalyst. Participants were introduced to several key topics designed to build their foundational knowledge and practical skills in blockchain and cryptocurrency.

Topics underscored are as follows:
- Evolution of money; barter to bitcoin
- Fundamentals of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
- Cardano Blockchain and use-cases
- Yoroi wallet setup; transacting and delegation ADA
- Project Catalyst experiment; account creation on IdeaScale, proposal submission, proposal assessment, voting, CT and CC roles, responsibilities and rewards
During the meetup, participants also had the opportunity to listen to a participant share her experience after attending a previous Cardano meetup.
At the end of the meetup, the following outcomes were recorded:
- 50+ participants attended the session.
- 85% of participants successfully created Yoroi wallets.
- 90% of participants created IdeaScale accounts.
- 100% of participants understood Cardano and blockchain technology and appreciated the impact of Cardano on smart contracts, value, and governance.
Overall, the Catalyst Campus Train at UENR Dormaa Campus was highly interactive and impactful, enabling participants to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure to the Cardano ecosystem. The session strengthened community engagement and encouraged participants to explore opportunities in decentralized innovation, collaboration, and funding through Project Catalyst.
