Cardano Ghana Developer & Tech Hubs Onboarding - AyaHQ Builder House, Accra

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Cardano Ghana brought the momentum of its Developer and Tech Hubs Onboarding Workshop Series to AyaHQ Builder Hub in Accra. This milestone event marked the final stop in our current tour—which began in Tamale, passed through Kumasi, and concluded in Ghana’s capital, Accra. With plans already hopefully to expand to other untapped cities, the mission to educate and onboard Africa’s builders into Cardano is far from over!

The workshop at AyaHQ brought together an enthusiastic group of developers and innovators eager to explore the Cardano ecosystem. Mohammed Mustapha Yakubu, Madam Afia Owusu, Richmond Oppong, and Nana Safo led insightful sessions covering a range of topics, including:

An introduction to Cardano and its vision,
Project Catalyst and how to get involved,
Opportunities in blockchain for African developers,
Practical insights into Cardano walleting and transactions, and

Building on Cardano using smart contracts and developer tools.

Adding an exciting international dimension to the workshop, we were joined by three passionate builders from across Africa: Muhammad (Nigeria), Diana (Uganda), and Labore (Togo). Each expressed keen interest in bringing Cardano to their home countries—especially Uganda and Togo—and building real-world solutions powered by Cardano’s technology.
